Multi-mode sander

The RO 150 is three tools in one. In the gear-driven Rotex mode, the pad's powered eccentric rotation has high torque and produces an aggressive sanding action, excellent for coarse, aggressive tasks like stripping paint and sanding down rough surfaces.

Slide the mode switch to use the random orbit mode for fine sanding, working your way up through grits as high as P1500 or finer.

To polish, attach the polishing backing pad with a polishing sponge, sheepskin, or felt pad and go back to Rotex mode to turn the tool into a high torque polisher.

Multi-Jetstream 2 technology provides effective dust extraction

When paired with a dust extractor, sanding dust is removed from the abrasive disc as it is created, resulting in greater sanding efficiency, a more consistent surface finish, cleaner air, and longer abrasive and pad life.

Edge protector

Clip the Festool Edge Protector onto the front of the sander to sand right into corners without risk of damaging the wall, the abrasive disc, or sanding pad.

Ergonomic grip positions

Modify your grip position to work comfortably. The optional auxiliary side handle and front handle accessories provides more grip options.

Tool-less pad changes

To change pads, simply immobilize the spindle with the lock button while you spin off one pad and spin on another. The bayonet mount system is fast, secure, and efficient at transmitting power.
