Shipping Policy
We strive to process and ship all orders for in-stock items within 1 to 4 business days*. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive tracking details via email. Please note that some items may be temporarily out of stock with no estimated restock date. In the event of any issues with your order, a member of our customer service team will reach out via email or phone within 2 to 5 business days after your order is placed.

*Payments through Affirm typically take an extra 2-3 days to process.
Shipping Rates
Enjoy free shipping on orders over $150.00 within Canada (before taxes). For all other orders, shipping fees will be calculated based on the courier’s rates. Should your order incur additional shipping charges, a member of our team will notify you directly.
Please note: Oversized or heavy items (over 40 pounds) may require extra shipping fees. Orders under 150 pounds will be shipped via standard courier services, while orders exceeding 150 pounds or oversized items will be shipped via freight and may incur additional charges. We reserve the right to apply shipping fees accordingly, with prior customer consent.
Exceptions include:
- Gift cards and taxes do not count towards free shipping threshold
- Orders over 40 pounds
- Items over 47 inches
- Beyond destination orders
- Large machinery and machinery accessories
- Products by Axiom Precision
Standard ground shipping is calculated during the online checkout process. If there are any exceptions, we will contact you.
Damaged Orders
We take care packaging your order, but unfortunately, shipping damage can occur. In the event of an order arriving damaged, please take a picture of the damaged packaging and contact us immediately.
We will provide you with the appropriate direction to resolve the issue. You must report any damage or missing pieces immediately on receiving or else we cannot be responsible for any damage.
Picking Up an Order
If placing and order for pick-up, we will contact you when it is ready. When picking up your order, you will sign the pick-up slip acknowledging that the products listed have been received in good condition. You are responsible for securing product in your vehicle.
All pick-up orders are subject to a 30 day pick-up period from time of fulfillment. You will be notified when your order is ready for pick-up and periodically during the 30 day period. If you fail to pick-up your order within the allotted 30 day period you will be charged a 25% restocking fee and the remainder of your total purchase will be refunded back to you. If you require additional time past the 30 day pick-up period contact us.
Pre-Orders
We offer customers the option to pre-purchase items that we have on backorder or make special orders for items we do not normally have in stock. These items will be labelled as such and, when available, will have accompanying estimates for their arrival at Ultimate Tools.
If you make an order containing pre-order items, your entire order will be held until all items arrive. If you wish for in-stock items to be shipped immediately, please order these items in a separate order.
Special Orders
We offer some items to be ordered for you on request. If no delivery estimate is provided on the product page and you wish for further details, please reach out to speak to someone either via phone at 866-971-9663 or e-mail at sales@ultimatetools.ca and a sales rep can clarify the turn around time to help you make an informed decision.
Please note that Special Order items are not eligible for cancellation or return as these items are ordered specially for you and not normally kept in stock.
International Orders
Certain product lines may not be shipped outside Canada due to dealer agreements including, but not limited to Axiom Precision, Fastcap, Festool, Grex, Laguna, Lamello, Mafell, Mirka Odie's Oil, Powermatic, Ryver Epoxy, SawStop, Shaper Tool, SuperMax Tools, Titebond, Tormek, Yeti Tool and Yoder Smokers.
We do not charge sales tax on orders shipped outside of Canada. International orders may be subject to import fees (import taxes, customs duties, or other fees) charged by the destination country. The recipient is responsible for any and all import fees. Contact your local customs office for additional information.
Gift Card Vouchers
Reward vouchers earned during special promotions may not be used on Festool, Mirka, Lamello, SawStop, TSO Products or Mafell. One voucher may be redeemed per purchase. Usage dates may apply, and if so, will be specified in the promotion description and included with the voucher.
