Woodpeckers Saddle T-Squares simplify perpendicular layout
One of the most common tasks in woodworking is marking square lines on two adjacent surfaces and the Saddle T-Square allows both these to be done simultaneously which improves both speed and accuracy. Saddle T-Squares come in four lengths, but all have a 3/4 inch long leg.
The field of pencil holes facilitates drawing parallel lines
Both metric and imperial versions are available, which defines the graduation of markings on each edge of the Saddle T-Square as well as the parallel scribing holes. In the centre of each Saddle T-Square is an array of holes that accept a mechanical pencil. Holes are spaced in 1/32 inch increments for imperial versions (1mm for metric versions), so you can accurately and precisely draw parallel lines in 1/32 increments by sliding the square along the edge of the workpiece.
Woodpeckers Saddle T-Squares are built for accuracy
Just like a hook rule, the Saddle T-Squares register positively against the end of your material and the bright white graduations are easy to read in any lighting conditions against the Woodpeckers Red anodizing. To reduce parallax, the graduated edges are bevelled at 30 degrees right down to the workpiece.
Each Woodpeckers Saddle T-Square is made with care
Woodpeckers machines each Saddle T-Square from a single block of aircraft grade aluminum on their state-of-the-art CNC milling centres. With the user in mind, every edge, including those of the pencil holes, is chamfered. Finally, the tools are anodized for corrosion and wear resistance and scales laser engraved.
