Fisch Tools is currently transitioning from Wave Cutters to Black Shark Pro forstner bits. Therefore, supply for all sizes is a mix of the two types until supply of Wave Cutters is depleted.
Fisch Black Shark Pro Forstner Bits are premium, professional drill bits designed for splinter-free, true to size holes in softwood and hardwood. The versatile forstner pattern (DIN 7483G) allows holes to be drilled on the edge of the material, or at an angle.
Black Shark Pro forstner bits cut faster and with less effort than all other forstner drill bits due to optimized cutting edges and sharper edges.
Each bit is designed with a centre point, wave periphery cutting edges, two lifters, and a shank with three flats to prevent spinning in the chuck.

- 1/4 to 1/2 inch bits have 1/4 inch shanks
- 5/8 inch bit has 5/16 inch shank
- 3/4 to 2-1/8 inch bits have 3/8 inch shank
- All bits are 3-1/2 inches long, overall, with a 2-3/8 inch working length, which excludes the shank
