Woodpeckers ThinRip Guide allows you to consistently rip narrow strips quickly and safely at the table saw
Making narrow cuts where material is trapped between the table saw fence and saw blade can be dangerous, resulting in kickback. With the ThinRip Guide, thin strips can be safely and accurately cut at the tablesaw with any material without burning caused from binding.
These strips are useful for everything from edge banding and inlay to Kumiko panels and more.
ThinRip Guide is fast and easy to calibrate and easy to set
The ThinRip Guide installs in the 3/8 x 3/4 inch T-slot mitre slot to the left of the blade. To calibrate the jig, slide the jig up to a tooth of the table saw blade and zero out the scale. Then adjust the ThinRip jig to the desired width and set the fence so your stock runs smoothly between the ThinRip ball bearings and table saw fence. Slide the fence over after each cut to produce multiple strips of the same width.
Depending on the table saw and blade you use, strips as thin as 1/32 inch (or thinner, if the wood will stay together) can be cut, with a maximum width of 1-1/4 inches.
Corrosion-resistant construction of Woodpeckers ThinRip Guide ensures reliability for years to come
The body is machined from a solid billet of aluminum, anodized for beauty and protection. All other components are also corrosion resistant, and the total weight is just under 4 pounds.
