To compliment the EC-TEC motor is an extremely robust gearbox, making the RG 130 ECI a powerful, durable and reliable workhorse.

Connect the Festool RG 130 ECI Renofix Renovation Grinder to an AutoClean Dust Extractor for super dust extraction

Grinding produces a large volume of dust which is at best a nuisance, requiring cleanup after work is gone, and at worst a health hazard. The Renofix Renovation Grinder, connected to a Festool CT 36 AC or CT 48 AC mobile dust extractor contains and extracts dust at the source to ensure low dust levels during grinding. For large grinding tasks, equip the dust extractor with the CT-VA pre-separator for an impeccably clean working environment and clean air.

Festool dust extractors automatically turn on and off when the connected tool is switched. If the RG 130 ECI is not plugged into the CT dust extractor, it can be connected to the dust extractor via Bluetooth for convenient, wireless control of suction.

The spring-loaded brush ring excels at containing dust for extraction, even on uneven surfaces. When sanding up to walls or raised edge, such as another floor, the front of the brush flips up for grinding to within 0.5 millimetres, with no damage.

Renofix Renovation Grinder allows grinding with control

For even grinding, the depth guide can be installed and adjusted to limit the projection of the grinding wheel. In addition, the variable speed dial lets you adjust the speed to the job, and the EC-TEC motor puts out an extremely consistent RPM even at the bottom end of the range.
