Mafell's ZK 115 Ec Notch Cutter is a specially-designed machine for all your notching and facing tasks. It's perfect for cutting birdsmouth joinery and lap joints. Cutter heads (not included) are suitable for use for solid wood and glue-laminated wood materials.
Mafell ZK 115 features an advanced cutter head
The 150 x 115mm cutter head (not included) has been recently redesigned to provide exceptionally high cutting rate as well as optimal chip removal and and extended service life. It features 4 carbide cutters for rough cutting and 9 for the final pass. Each can be reversed to expose a sharp edge, then replaced individually as needed. A separate scoring cutter produces clean shoulders.
Depth adjustments of the notch cutter save test cutting and save time
The precision adjuster is both fast and accurate. With it, you can simply set the notch cutter to the desired dimension and cut without test cuts which consume time, materials, and effort.
ZK 115 Ec Notch Cutter is lightweight and portable
At only 46.1 pounds (21.1 kilograms), the ZK 115 Ec can be easily moved around the site. Its ergonomic design makes it easy to carry and control, reducing operator fatigue.

Mafell's Notch Cutter is system compatible
The included parallel guide fence makes cuts parallel to an edge easy, as required when rabbeting. It can also be used with Mafell guide rails for straight cuts away from or not parallel to edges.
