The Mirka DEROS is the lightest electric sander in its class. The longer body design allows comfortable and intuitive use with either one hand or two.

Versatile 5 millimetre stroke

The general purpose 5 millimetre random orbit motion removes material efficiently and leaves a fine scratch pattern that is difficult to pick up with the naked eye. Ideal for general sanding of cabinetry, furniture, drywall, paint, and more.

Large 6 inch diameter pad

The 6 inch pad has 44% more surface area than a 5 inch diameter pad so large areas such as panels, table tops, walls, and floor can be covered more quickly, and sanded more evenly. The larger pad also extends further beyond the front of the motor housing so the sander can access tighter areas.

Optimized dust extraction

The improved backing pad permits exceptional dust extraction via the 27 millimetre dust port at the back when connected to a dust extractor. Use with mesh abrasives for the best dust extraction.

Powerful brushless motor

The compact 350 watt brushless motor is comparable to a 500 watt brushed motor, delivering plenty of power for aggressive sanding. Electronics ensure a soft start and constant speed under load. Closed construction prevents dust from entering the motor and causing accelerated wear and damage.

Intuitive paddle switch

The feather-light paddle switch can be set to function as an on/off switch, or a variable speed control just like an air sander which is very useful for sanding delicate areas prone to oversanding.

Smart technology

Continuous temperature monitoring of the motor and controller helps prolong the service life of the tool, and the tool can be monitored with the MyMirka app.
