BigCal's jaws align perfectly between the inside and outside references, allowing the precise transfer of critical dimensions. The dual-function nut not only secures the jaws firmly but also ensures a steadfast grip, squarely aligning the jaw with the blade to prevent any slippage or movement during measurement.
The fixed jaw is locked precisely at zero, enabling users to slide the adjustable jaw aside and utilize BigCal as a T-square. Additionally, the outside jaws' tips are milled precisely 1/8 inch square, enabling the registration of even the tiniest slots or grooves.

Woodpeckers simplified transferring dimensions with the scribing notch at the blade's end.

Woodpeckers BigCal: Precision Calipers for Any Measurement Task
Woodpeckers BigCal is available in a combo set with two sizes or there's the option to purchase each size separately.
The larger caliper enables measurement of inside or outside dimensions up to 24 inches (or 610 millimetres), surpassing most standard calipers by 18 inches.
The smaller BigCal provides over 12 inches between the jaws. Both versions feature jaws that are 2-1/4 inch deep for outside measurements and 3/4 inch for inside measurements.
Additionally, each BigCal comes with a wall-mountable Rack-It, ensuring your new tool is always conveniently positioned and ready for use.
